Tips for A Successful Hudson Valley Apple Picking Trip:

  • Check the weather before your outing.
  • Wear comfortable shoes, like these. There is usually a lot of walking during Hudson Valley apple picking trips and the ground is typically uneven on the farms. Be aware of fallen apples: they are slippery when accidentally walked on.
  • Always prepare for unexpected weather. Hats, Sunblock, and Ponchos, like these, can be your best friends.
  • If possible, the best time to visit Hudson Valley apple orchards is during the week when they are less crowded.
  • Don’t forget your mask!
