For locals and tourists alike, the Hudson Valley is an amazing place to visit during the month of December. December is a magical time of year anywhere in the world, but Hudson Valley Holiday Events are the best around!

Each and every city, town and even down to the smallest hamlet gets dressed up in their Holiday best as they spread cheer to each and every person visiting.

If you are someone who loves the Holidays (and who doesn’t), the Hudson Valley is an excellent place to celebrate all month long!

Thanksgiving Weekend at Lyndhurst Mansion

Visitors can explore Lyndhurst this weekend without a guided tour. See the mansion transformed into an extravagant wonderland of holiday splendor. Dozens of Christmas trees are expertly decorated and designed to complement the elegant period furnishings within the rooms of the house.

Arboretum Holiday Lights in Bloom

The 12th Annual “Holiday Lights in Bloom” program is FREE and will be open to the public from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays starting November 27th though December 27th.

The 25th Annual Price Chopper/Market 32 Capital Holiday Lights in the Park drive through will take place at Washington Park in Albany.

Drive-Through Christmas Wonderland

December 17th & 18th: 6pm – 9pm
Salesian High School, New Rochelle

Join us for our drive-through holiday extravaganza. Santa will be spreading socially distanced good cheer from the lawn of the Provincial House 🎅🏼 and our campus will be lit up like a Christmas tree. 🎄We hope to see you at this free, community-wide event.

ERDAJT Holiday Lights Display

November 27th – December 26th

This family of 5 takes great pride in their holiday lights display. It has become a family project throughout the year. Started in 1995, this family tradition lives on and is a local favorite.

Fortis Family’s Lights

November 26th, 2020 – January 6th, 2021: 5 – 10pm
47 Fairfax Road, Fishkill

Come see one of the best holiday displays in New York. Tune to FM 89.9 to hear over 30 Holiday songs. Watch our home’s 100,000 light pulsate spin, and strobe all to benefit out family’s Breast Cancer Foundation.

Go Light Your World Holiday Illumination Weekend

As many holiday events get cancelled due to Covid, we are thrilled to see our county offer this safe and unique holiday experience with a drive through holiday light display.

Grand Holiday Illumination

December 12th – January 3rd: 4:30pm – 8pm
Untermyer Gardens, Yonkers

Because of the pandemic, visitation will be strictly limited by timed entry. Free event- RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED by signing up online at ww.untermyergardens.org. Unfortunately, no one can be admitted without reservations.

Grand Illumination at Tymor Park

Starting December 11th

Come and check out our beautiful Holiday Light Display at Tymor Park beginning on Friday, December 11th. Lights will be on every night beginning at dusk.

Holiday Lights in Bloom

Starting on November 27th (Fri, Sat, & Sun 5pm – 8pm)
Route 416, Montgomery
Holiday Lights Display at the Orange County Arboretum. Masks and social distancing are required. No buses or groups of more than 8 people. Admission may be limited due to Covid-19 restrictions. No cocoa this year and the Friend’s Holiday Boutique will be online only. Visit their Facebook page for details.

Keeler Christmas Lights Display

November 28th, 2020 – January 2021: 6pm – 10pm

Staples Family home light show. Located on Jenkins Court in Ossining. You can tune to 90.5 FM to listen to the music in your car.

Lights on Six

Starting November 27th – New Year’s Eve: 5-11pm
6 Field Ct., Poughkeepsie

Stop by and check out the show each night until New Year’s Eve. Lights go up the day after Thanksgiving. A beautiful light and music display.

Merry & Bright Driving Tour

Hyde Park, NY

Drive through Hyde Park and admire the decorated homes.

North Kensico Christmas Lights Show

Saturday, November 28, 2020, through Friday, January 1, 2021. 
The display runs from 5:30-11pm nightly.

The North Kensico Christmas Lights Show is synced to the music on 107.7 FM. One of the most popular residential Christmas light shows in Westchester.

Roy’s Christmas Lans

This long-running display in Harrison has lots of antique pieces—plus tons more. Owner Roy Aletti has been decking out his house for more than 40 years!

Boscobel will be welcoming Santa IN PERSON outdoors in the Orangery. He will greet children of all ages from a social – but still jolly! – distance.
