Each and every city, town and even down to the smallest hamlet gets dressed up in their Holiday best as they spread cheer to each and every person visiting.

Come experience the wonder of the holiday season with fantastic model train displays. Holiday Train Show features a special 12 x18 foot display of model trains traveling through countryside scenes. The display includes detailed features such as a mountain with a train tunnel, a ravine with a train trestle crossing over it, a stream, a model village, railroad crossings, and much more. The Holiday Train Show takes place inside the Manor House. Tickets can be purchased at the front desk on the day you attend.
Twilight Tours at Boscobel House & Gardens

Boscobel House and Gardens, Garrison
Experience Boscobel House and Gardens lit by candlelight, decorated for 19th-century holidays, and resonating with live music — Twilight Tours offer an especially beautiful seasonal experience. Enjoy a cup of mulled cider, hot chocolate and cookies in the Carriage House or as you stroll among twinkling lights in our Apple Orchard, Formal Garden, and our Winter Garden full of festive lights and fabulous floral design.
The Polar Express Train Ride
November 18th – December 28th
Catskill Mountain Railroad, Kingston
Passengers will read along with the classic children’s book, The Polar Express, by Chris Van Allsburg. Once at The North Pole, Santa and his Elves board the train to greet passengers and each guest is given the first gift of Christmas – a silver sleigh bell. During the trip, characters on each car lead passengers in caroling and on board entertainment – just like in the film! Each guest will take home a keepsake sleigh bell in addition to the wonderful memories made on this unforgettable adventure.
LuMagica at Harvest Moon

Celebration of Lights

Dongan Square Park, Poughkeepsie
This event will feature dance and musical performances, food trucks, floats, Santa Claus and fireworks. A “Renewable Holiday Village” will be created highlighting recyclables and renewables in a festive mood of community celebration. In addition, several businesses and organizations will have other activities taking place that day. And the Mural Square holiday tree also will be lit earlier in the day.

A $5 donation for photos and a donation of canned goods that will go to the Fishkill Food Pantry would be greatly appreciated. We will have children’s crafts in our one room schoolhouse.
