Easter Egg Hunts Hudson Valley:
Have a Hopping Good time!
Traveling down the road to Mount Gulian on this chilly Spring Day made me wish that my children were younger so they could experience all the Easter Egg Hunts Hudson Valley has to offer.
Last year, I had the honor of attending the Children’s Spring Tea & Egg Hunt at Mount Gulian in Dutchess County, NY.
I was able to enjoy the event through the lens of my camera and was honored to witness the joy of this Easter/Spring Event.
Although some of these locations are open to the public, please follow these guidelines:
Please be safe.
Practice social distancing, wear a mask, wash hands thoroughly and follow all mandates and recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (cdc.gov) and NY State and local Governments.
It’s time to start planning for egg hunts, breakfast with the bunny and photo opportunities galore.
If you’re looking for an event to attend and an experience to cherish with your family, then look at this list and choose away!
If I’ve left an Easter egg hunt off the list, please let me know and I’ll be sure to add it.
Things to Know Before Hiking in the Hudson Valley:
- Do research before heading out on the trails.
- Be honest about your hiking experience. Some hiking trails are for seasoned hikers and not for newbies.
- Be prepared with the correct gear (see below)
- Check the weather on a reputable site or App (see below)
- Check your location the day of your visit. Some are very popular and close when at capacity.
Please Be Considerate:
Because of the recent increase in visitation to many hiking trails:
- Please take out what you bring in, meaning garbage, etc.

- Do not tamper or collect plants, disturb the animals, etc.
- Keep your pet on a leash.
The hiking community wants to these trails to remain open, clean and safe for enjoyment now and for years to come.
